Privacy policy

This notice explains how the website daigresy.com processes the personal data of its visitors, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data collected

The website has no forms and does not ask visitors for any data. It only collects, automatically, the technical data needed to display its pages (usage data): IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser and operating system.

Anyone who writes to the email address or calls provides their data voluntarily, and it is used only to answer the request.

Purposes and legal basis

• Operation and security of the website: displaying pages, preventing abuse and fixing technical problems. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest.
• Answering requests received by email or phone, including before a booking. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject.
• Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4), only if the visitor accepts them in the banner. Legal basis: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time from “Cookie preferences”.
• Legal obligations and the defence of legal claims, where necessary.

Services used by the website

• Hosting (Contabo GmbH, Germany): the website is hosted on a server in the European Union, which records usage data, including the IP address, in its system logs.
• Adobe Fonts (Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd): provides the website’s typefaces; it receives the visitor’s IP address and sets no cookies.
• Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., United States): plays the background videos in “do not track” mode, without tracking cookies; it receives the visitor’s IP address.
• Links to external websites: the Book button opens the BookingExpert booking system, “Book a tasting” opens the WineAround platform and “Directions” opens Google Maps. Their own privacy notices apply on those websites.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), only with the visitor’s consent: aggregate statistics on visits and clicks, without recording the IP address and with no advertising use; data kept for 14 months, transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How and where data is processed

Data is processed electronically, with security measures that prevent unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Besides the controller, technical providers (hosting, website maintenance) may access it, appointed as processors where necessary. For services based in the United States, transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

Retention

Server system logs are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Data provided by email is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and to meet any legal obligations.

Your rights

Within the limits set by law, you may at any time:

• access your data and receive a copy;
• ask for it to be corrected or erased;
• ask for processing to be restricted, or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a structured format or have it transferred to another controller;
• withdraw any consent given;
• lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Requests should be sent to amministrazione@marchesidigresy.com: they are free of charge and answered within one month.
