The Marchesi di Grésy estate is an integral part of the winemaking history of the Langhe and Monferrato. At its heart is the Martinenga cru, a historic vineyard that has belonged to the family since 1797 and the only monopole in Barbaresco.
In 1973, Alberto di Grésy began producing wine from the family’s vineyards, establishing a new chapter in the estate’s history. A forward-thinking pioneer of single-vineyard bottling in the region, he was guided by passion, respect for nature and the local grape varieties, and a desire to express the character and nuances of each vineyard.
Today, the next generation, Alessandro and Ludovica, carry this work forward, building on their family’s history while looking to the future.
